A miserable match night for the lads against some bunch of lesbians.

Despite a brilliant debut from waylander, this lot were just too well practised for our lineup (who have spent most of the last few weeks playing Nerdcraft) and kicked our arse in many different places. Had it not been a group of girls we may have been very upset with this performance, however I hear some of the team last night do "like to be dominated". waylander particularly never minds having a 1 on 4 with a bunch of European girlies.

Which begs the questions: Who does the ironing in the respective Ku! households? Do they make the kids do it? Who cooks dinner? Watch this space!

Initial reports that lander "ruined everything" are total fabrications. He had a solid debut and looked to be the only player who turned up for large periods. But then again it was a shitty map from 1970 which should have been cast into the fires of Hades a long time ago.

Our unbeaten run finally finished tonight as we were outfought by plasmodic, though they barely broke a sweat in disposing of our unfortunate lineup.

Sadly the disproportionate amount of points awarded to us for default wins by theSGL had put us in a top 10 position, and a result like this appeared to be inevitable eventually.

There was no HLTV tonight so I'm unable to comment on the match, however well done to the lads for giving a good account of themselves by at least digging in and taking the 6 rounds after a terrible start.

Another default "win" for us. That's the long and short of it.

We continued our 100% SGL record tonight with a jittery but grinded-out win over Modified-Gaming.

We had looked at the opposition's results before the game and couldn't find a single loss and a lot of straight wins, so we always thought this would be a difficult game and a possible hammering. However, the situation was eased a bit when MG only managed to muster 4 players for the match. Despite this they were still 4 players that are much more experienced and well-practised at the game in general than any of our 5, and we had the feeling we'd face an uphill battle.

After some routine CT wins with the bias of the map in our favour, MG mounted their challenge and managed to bring the half-time score as close as 8-7 to our boys. Smokey was the star man in the first half and dragged the underperforming team out of the doldrums many times, and was often backed-up by an energetic performance by Liam.

In the second half Liam took centre-stage, at 5-5 things were looking close but a storming last five rounds saw all five our players finally find their feet, giving us another fine win to add to the Stinchcombe result last week. The unconventional way in which we won on such a biased map was excellent to see, as was a great performance from Liam who didn't hit the high notes before now. It was also a solid return from Lazyboy, he didn't get many kills as he was stuck out in the often-unused B bombsite, but still played well. Rayvon and pip were solid as usual, the latter pulling off some great AWPing at the end.
